Taken from the De-Grey thread. Interesting comments around a number of large Aus miners with short mine lives, Newcrest having a bucket load of money to spend and EVN likely to go spending so as to not fall behind Northern Star.

There are obviously a few junior miners who have found gold this year, but you would have to assume MGV is on the radar of the bigger miners (and may explain the incessant capping / bot trading).
