What impressed me most was the fact they were still doing quite a bit of development drilling in Far West during the early part of the quarter yet still managed to up the grades, this bodes well for this quarter and beyond IMO.
The best quarter for RVR was March last year with revenue of $32.6m, which added $8.5m to the cash tally , gave an EBITDA of $12.5m , C1 costs of 14c lb and C3 of 58c lb, will be interesting to see how this quarter compares.
The main takeaway for me is that consistent results have been the biggest issue at Thalanga , starting with a small mine then having to transition. Far West being bigger should now give more consistent results going forward and will eventually be blended in with an even bigger mine at Liontown and it has a lot more GOLD, plus we have Hillgrove as an upcoming side dish ...as always with mining there will be issues but there is a lot to look forward to , especially if the commodity prices stay firm ..
