I guess it comes down to your approach. My preference (where available) is to participate in the DRP, as I intend to hold over a relatively long time horizon (i.e. >5 years) and any dividend amount I'd otherwise receive in my day to day life won't be missed. Coupled with the fact that it doesn't attract any transaction costs, I'm happy to continue increasing my holdings via the DRP.
