Why convert now when he had over 12months left to convert????
To give the market confidence?, maybe but it also gives a huge profit on the way up to sell into which would then have the opposite effect but sh's wouldn't know until sold........
Maybe they have earnt the right to make a few quid, but theres also a long way to go for long termers to break even, hope its not making money and lots of it before we can get level.......
