The difference between FOB and CIF includes the cost of loading and unloading, shipping, port services and insurance. I did not find the shipping cost for spod but the shipping cost for iron ore from WA to China ports is around $10 per ton. Since spod requires better protection during transport I would expect the cost to be significantly higher? Insurance should be proportional to the cargo value. The other costs should be similar to iron ore. So I guess the overall difference might be $20-30. It is really just a guess.
Another major difference in their definition of cash cost is about royalties and title cost. Any idea how much these could be?
