When he was putting Evolution together the boss of Evolution decided Edna May did not make the cut and so sold it to Ramelius. As such I would be fairly surprised if he wanted to buy it back. Edna May makes up 40% to 50% of Ramelius production so if he bought Ramelius he would effectively doing so to take back Edna May. And it is not as if Ramelius has made any major discoveries at Edna May since taking it over from Evolution.
Anyway, even Mark Zeptner says he wants to upgrade the quality of his assets as they get bigger.
Another point is that given the size of Evolution they would be looking for much bigger production centres than either of Mt Magnet or Edna May.
If Evolution were to put in a bid for Ramelius then I would think that would mark the beginning of the silly season for the gold sector.
