Not neccessarily HBSWRX. Like my tag line says, the cure for high prices is high rices. People have got to have the money to pay for things, and most of the cost of these infrastructure projects isn't materials, its labour costs. Maybe 10% of the cost of the projects will be materials, and most of that will be concrete and fill. Better to buy shares in a listed quarry company to see a direct impact.
Indirectly, yes, it will help - in 2 or 3 years.
dealingonline, nice work. Not enough people saw how ridiculous the nickel price was. The sustainable price is probably closer to $6/lb, but as you say...we've still got a mismatch between supply and demand. Anything could happen.
Which is why it puzzles me why MBN, if they could have foreseen this if their marketing guys were worth their damn salaries, didn't protect the project and not the share price b doing a raising earlier. Its not like this crisis ahasn't been going on for nearly 2 years.
