conditions

from what i can discern there are 2 very positive conditions which indicate to me that the deal will go through (please correct me if i am wrong) -

1. MinMetals cannot buy on market - they have committed to buy at .825 only. so they can't be buying at yesterday's and today's prices which are below their bid price in order to set up a lower offer later.

2. MinMetals are prevented from making another bid for OZL for 12 months if they withdraw from this one. imagine what metal prices might be in 12 months time and with PH in full swing. they are grasping a unique opportunity.

mont - congratulations on another great post in which you also acknowledged 2ic's great post. there has been heaps of rubbish posts again today.

and to the other posters (kg included) who have publicly stated the price at which they have bought in today (and one who even predicted a price jump in the afternoon) - i wish you all the luck you deserve for backing your astute judgements. well done!
