I think the rise was due to the rumour of 1M potential preregistration or there is a leaky ship which I feel it would be the first time.
Options to me are still a better longer term play given value discrepancy and the better potential returns I have explained before but if you are trading then the heads is better given the volume. So you can get out quicker - getting in is easy, although might not be at the price you ideally want. Getting out is the harder one to control.
