Mystery solved. Apparently one of the MF publications put a buy on before the market open yesterday. So combined with the Buy that Shaws put on the day before, that explains the share price rise on volume.
Maybe the middle of the day presentation yesterday was to help sustain the price rally (although one could argue that it didn't help) in preparation for the cap raising today.
