Vaughan Bowen did the same trick when he ran M2 & Vocus. Overpaid for assets and then the merger synergies did not materialise as predicted collapsing the share price. Liquidated my small exposure today can’t deal with a c-suite spending other people’s money with gleeful abandonment but in this case I think it’s ego and abandonment...
