With regards to Dow jones, about 50Trillion $s in the world, is trying to find a home. And with the low interest rates, where else to go other than equities. Stocks are not currently priced for their intrinsic value, mostly. They are been inflated. Too much speculation.
You only have to look at sovereign debts around the world, covid and deaths. It just doesn't make economic sense, what is happening on the Dow.
With regard to gold, few days ago I heard, one central bank sold few tons of them. Perhaps they needed the money?
I feel the gold has a good future in the near to medium term, because of money printing, which is losing value.
