https://www.carnegiece.com/project/ceto-5-perth-wave-energy-project/It was 14,000 "operational hours" (aka time in the water) and it produced something like 12,000kWH (12MWh) of energy. Ie. an absolutely triffling amount (the same as a home PV system). It cost something like $56M in grant and shareholder funds to design, deploy and measure (I mean - it was HARD to measure any output!).
It was something like $4,000,000/MWh. Possibly one of the worst pilot projects of all time. But hey, they got some good lessons learnt which I have no doubt they barely documented.
