Hi Ninnie
I recall Mal stating that he liked Steve and his integrity was beyond reproach. However, Mal had problems with Steve as he thought that Steve had allusions about his capabilities (I believe this was meant in regard to CEO Role). Obviously things have disintergrated between the two parties even further.
