ZIPs arrears is down signficiantly, so i am not the slightest concerned about new customers using the ZIP anywhere feature.
Even if ZIP only acquires the $6 monthly fee, they still create brand awareness and loyalty with that customer who MAY in the future sign up for ZIP business, ZIP home loans etc.
Its a volume game now, ZIP needs volume.
$1 from 10 million people is 10 million dollars.
$6 from 1 million people is $6 million dollars.
Sometimes less is more.
