GeoNeo, that Portergeo link you put in your post covering Oak Dam and Oak Dam West was well worth looking at. I can't profess to understand the intricacies of the geology but it does give a good overview of whats understood. Oak Dam West is of most significance being not that far from our lease border. What caught my eye was the explanation that before the mineralization was covered by 600 metres or more of Pandurra sediments, these deposits were already eroded in depth by some two thirds I think I recall it saying. Just shows how massive these systems were at the time they formed a billion and a half years ago. When you consider our western boundary is say 5kms or so from Oak Dam West, it really is just next door in geological terms. Still, even so, BHP had to sink a number of holes to hit the sweet spot, so no matter how big these systems are it can still be hit and miss, at least for a while.
