Because people here are newbies, they have no idea how the market works. They're simple people; stonk go up, they fomo buy.
Ask them what the equity of the company is, they have no clue.
Ask them what the YoY or QoQ growth is, they have no clue.
Ask them what the cash burn rate is, they have no clue.
They'll tell you none of it matters, but more than happy to say how DOU is the "tesla of money/banking" and other nonsense hype bs.
Hotcopper is the place retail money goes to die.
The ppl on this forum are an exemplary example of this.
