Frankie , my point is we as Australians haven't really felt the pain yet like others in another country. but when we do then no doubt the panic will set in as per thread title. that is my point about the disconnect, if your not actually seeing and feeling then it is not such a reality as investors in the USA & Europe who have known many people who are unemployed, have had house prices fall 20% etc etc. if you have read my other posts over the past couple of weeks or so you would know i believe we have another leg down and that is why if miffed about the up down on thursday and the support we had today. it is also why i shorted BHP, CTX, LEI, SPN, IPL, TEN, PPX over the last couple of days. And by the way i went out for Japanese tonight and the restaurant was full.
