Completely agree. We may be years away from a vaccine or never but so far what I'm reading on current trials is positive.
My fianceé is American and currently in the USA so obviously I'm hopeful for a vaccine however my main concern is about long term efficacy not about whether it's going to result in flipper babies so yes I will not hesitate to take one when offered.
