There is little or no hope of OGC defaulting, the positive foreign currency OGC brings to New Zealand which needs companies producing foreign exchange whilst labour costs are in kiwi dollars. The NZ government will not allow such a nett foreign cash cow to be at risk. The NZ government has flagged support for NZ financial institutions and is considering assistance to another ASX listed company (F&P). OGC will be supported should debt rollover be questioned. At current gold prices this is not an issue of course. If the POG goes as expected with inflation in the US, the company should be in profit by end financial year 2010/2011.
