Shougang inks strategic agreement with CITIC Group
It is reported that Shougang Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with CITIC Group on February 17th. Senior officials from both the companies presented the ceremony yesterday.

Mr Kong Dan, the board chairman of CITIC Group spoken highly of Shouggang Group at his ceremony speech, and believes the strategic cooperation between the two sides in higher and wider level would benefit the two companies largely.

During his speech, the board chairman of Shougang Group Mr Zhu Jimin also paid great tribute to the CITIC Group. He said amid the global financial crunch and fluctuated markets at home and abroad, the close relationship of the two companies is of great historical significant, symbolizing the bilateral relationship has stepped into a wholly new stage. He strongly believes the cooperation would gain fruitful result and promising future.

CITIC and Shougang have a long and sound cooperative relationship in both financial and non-financial sectors.
