I think an element of the savings is simply a deep clean won't need to be done to the same degree as without the copper coating. If a shopping centre for instance is a hot spot, the venue gets closed for a few hours, some general cleaning is done and the venue can be reopened by the next moring, simply due to the passage if time.
Is this the main merit of what they're proposing?
