This is interesting...and a v positive story for the Access Bio's nasal Ag RDT product.

Seems AccBio is conducting further trials for its Ag RDT in the US - for people, even kids, to self-test themselves.

Short video worth watching and it appears that AccBio has been adapting the nasal swab lengths + kit for children's noses.

Las Cruces is the second-largest city in the US state of New Mexico. As per article, this is one of the trial locations...so guess must be doing this in other US cities too? Will be a good win, especially if they can demonstrate that even un-trained children can do a self-nasal Ag test successfully. Especially since everyone who has had nasal swabs says its quite uncomfortable.

This will allow AccBio + AT1 to sell the self-test/no-professional-needed version, especially in markets where it is allowed by regulatory authorities.
