Forget parties Daddo...It's about what's right...I've actually voted liberal my entire life but what's being proposed is down right wrong under the cover of covid...The liberal party understands there will never be a better time to hoodwink the lower classes by using fear & dangling low hanging fruit.
Of coarse the income tax cuts will be hard for the lower class to disseminate the potential upfront gains vs the huge gaps behind them...It will likely receive uneducated support...The same people who are victims of our payday lending traps etc.
I can't wait to pay tax out the ass on my Triton Minerals investment...Might put that shower rail in for your neighbour, or provide a breast screening for a mother.
Trickle up economics is just as sound as trickle down so what do we say seems how the Liberal party believes trickle down economics will ultimately benefit the ground worker...Let's put it straight into their hands & let that cash find it's way home back to the top end of town where they can reinvest into their businesses & create jobs.
When the divide between Australia's wealthiest & poorest starts closing we are on the right track...It is not & it's a worry.
I've got no problems with wealthy being wealthy...Not everyone needs to drive a Mercedes but everyone needs the very basics met & then more...I'd rather not have a big boat & the less fortunate don't have to skip a meal or wait 12 months for a specialist appointment.
We are not all born into a level playing ground, it is not the case of everyone has an equal fighting chance...We are Australian & we must drag our fellow man & woman up with us..We are not India or America..We are Aussie.
Excess wealth is a curse & giving, compassion will bring true happiness, not Frydenburgs version but the version that counts.
Tax in the hands of good government is a blessing, a privilege & I don't care whether or not the income tax cut plan benefits my bottom line or not..It's wrong & weakens our great nations ability to govern & provide for it's people.
Look into Denmark, one of the highest taxed countries but yet they are the happiest? Because everyone is brought a long for the ride.
