When there is a fall in SP over a few days like we have seen a lot of traders and new investors get nervous and bail out. During these times I like to look at charts over a 6 month weekly time frame to see the bigger picture of where the SP has come
from and then remind yourself of the potential upside still to play out.
Yes profits can be made and saved with short term trades, but at a CGT cost. Wealth is created over a much longer time frame. Another reason to take note of daily price fluctuations but zoom out, which often will help you chill out.
