    TLS board will do all it can to maintain current dividend of 16c at least for another 12mths.
    At current price that's a grossed up yield of 8.3%
    IMHO even a fully franked dividend of 10c is attractive at this price , that's still grossed up yield of 5.2%.

    Sorry to say, but telstra will need to speed up its T22 program, with respect to 'laying off' workers. Cost cutting will be an essential ingredient in profitability and maintaining the dividend. Telstra needs to become leaner and meaner company if it's to compete with rival companies.

    Price is very close to the bottom imho. I suspect we will see the 'smart' money coming in very soon....
