Previous results suggest a reversal of fortunes for the two Bakers.
However, Baker 1 was never completed and the results reflect flow from a damaged well (there is no mention that the blockage has been cured or circumvented).
Baker 2 is a massive result. It was originally reported as being 1,500 ft. That makes the production rate 54 boepd / 100 ft. That is twice the rate achieved by Kunde 3 and very nearly twice the rate achieved from the bottom 1,500 section of Kowalik first reported.
If (BIG IF) that kind of flow can be replicated for Block B wells in sections drilled through natural fractures, we would see significant flows from Kowalik and Weston (which seemed to be flaring as they drilled a bit like Baker 2).
