yes, I did have one course - an entree ---------- escargot Burgundy - something like that
I didn't like it much -------- it was too oily and my palate got coated how I didn't like - it might have been ok with the right wine - but, I don't drink wine at all - so, that might have been the issue.
I don't mind escargot as a meat - it's fine - the secret of course is the sauce.
for that dinner - I had cheval as a main - and, that was very nice. Dessert was tried and true Creme brulee ---- the toffee wasn't how I like it normally, but, was good - the custard was about the best I can remember though.
I surprised the hell out of myself and found that I knew what everything on the menu was - meaning that my endless gazing at butcher shops and supermarket cases must have paid off - even though my oral is what I consider about 4 out of 100
