They have a large camp setup now. They dragged the equipment in via a snow road. The camp enables them to support year round drilling.

They can use the snow road access again this winter.

They can also put basic shelter structures onto drill rigs.

Their discovery costs per ounce are actually quite cheap due to mineralisation style. Geophysics guides drilling. The ore body is near surface, broad and deep. That means a large % of drilled metres are into mineralisation ( less money and time wasted on drilling through barren rock ).

They had slower exploration in 2018 and 2019 as everything was helicopter-supported. The camp gives them greater efficiencies.

Will be interesting to see costs for Sept quarter in the quarterly due soon.

Also didn’t stop Victoria Gold in the Yukon.

Aussies miners work in heat in WA, NT, QLD. They deal with cyclones and wet seasons. Alaskans and Canadians cope with the winters ( they are used to it ).

Also ... DC3s can operate with Skis.
