Fair call. I doubt the company before I buy in, not after. This helps me do some reading on the company, so enables to make an informed decision.
Bit like marriage.
Before marriage you try and get to know the partner, their qualities, their weaknesses and see if you can live with that for the rest of your life.
If you try to do all those after marriage, it may not end up well.
