A division of Donut bank that doesn't converse with another division of Donut bank, said carb demand was up 128% y-o-y in Sep Qtr, inventories evaporating. PLS offtakes include link to carbonate/hydroxide prices, therefore, we can expect spod prices to rise by approx $3.87 soon, that will be enough to re-stock the tim tams at head office for the coming year.
Some say there is still an overhang of spod, but Ganfeng will fix that shortly, as their 50kt hydroxide (370kt of spod) plant is being ramped as I write, and will help supply South Korean and Japan markets until 24th of Dec. Not sure what happens after that, I guess we can look forward to cockroach racing in Brisbane, assuming you allowed the leave Vic.
