The mental health issues are always there.... yes the social isolation and paranoia that covid inspires has made a tremendous problem for many and th lockdowns have crippled many businesses causing depression and contributing to suicidality.... all these are multi-factorial though and Andrews management has not been perfect of course.

But if the lockdown had not been imposed the mortality rate would have been much much higher and the damage to business much more severe. Look at the productivity damage elsewhere around the world where lockdowns have not been imposed.

Aged care was the responsibility of Fed Govt until Vic State took over.... and look how it improved since then.

There big problem with Andrews management was he relaxed restrictions too soon at the urging of Morrison, while the infection risk was still too high, and he waited too long to start restrictions after the population infections increased. He tried targeted restrictions first but the bug continued to spread.

These posters above who think that Andrews was wilfully in manipulating the state for his own advantage are foolish in their thinking and trying to do what they accuse Andrews of doing.
