Costic, you may be too young to be aware of the fact that reagan, for all his apparent weaknesses, contributed more to changing the history of the world than any other president in the last 50 years, Kennedy included.
Quite simply, he won the Cold War. Star Wars was never going to work, but the Soviet Union could not take the chance that it might. The result was that Moscow was forced into an arms race that was beyond the economic capacity of the country, and the Soviet Union went broke.
Reagan was one of the few world leaders who always recognized his own limitations, and gathered around him the expertise to make up the deficiency.
He served his country, and the world. We all owe him.
