I think $1000/Oz is a BIG resistance level for gold and most traders would exit and wait and see. A breakout over $1000 would be the next buy signal. This probably translates into a cap of 29c for IAU for now.
IAU has great fundamentals so would expect good news to ultimately push the price up, but you need to decide if you are a trader or a longer term investor.
