Michael Pascoe (who is a holder of ANZ)- give it a break, I would rather a cut in dividend, than a cap raising at these levels and since his statement in October, the markets, earnings, etc... have changed for the worse.
Regardless, have a look at today's scoreboard - the mkt and the instos obviously liked ANZ's trading update and to finish above $13 resistance and being the biggest gainer of all 4 majors today, is very bullish.
