This is a bit of a stretch of the imagination. but PLS is in a trading halt re a potential acquisition. Is it possible they want to diversify into an advanced gold explorer? The lithium sector is so poor at present that paying, say, $50M for MTC could be seen as a way of making money in the gold sector in the nearer term while the lithium sector takes its time to pick up.
