As others noted above running PLS plant at full capacity to service their offtakes and leaving their plaint in C&M until needed (in a year?) will be a great outcome. Then no need to buy the stage 2 add on. Until we need a stage 3.
All depends on what price Aus Super are getting their shares in PLS for to finance the whole show now I guess.
Seems like we'll know shortly given they seem to have already been working on the deal.
