China is an authoritarian state with shocking human rights abuses that is expanding its military power into Asia. China is not our friend. It's not even friendly towards Australia, they are constantly bullying us and asserting their dominance in the region.
I suggest you read about the Xinjiang re-education camps. Or perhaps the presence of Chinese spies in Australia.
By the way, being critical of China doesn't mean I am not critical of the United States or Russia or Australia or any other nation. No point putting your head in a hole when it comes to China.
