Read and anlayse the entire ann., rather than concentrating on the dividend. There are a couple of gremlins within it, that was not either projected or speculated upon. Stayed well away today. Luck to those that made something but I feel for the daytraders who lost.

The shock was the divvie - possibly a wrong move by the Board IMO in the long term but I am sure that those who posted in the last week will have forgotten about SSM in the months ahead. In my experience, dividends can be declared for a "variety" of reasons, for both shareholders and 'inhouse" advantages.
Nearly always sell on news nowadays. Shame, but true.
