Yes the Illumina acquisition of Grail was a big deal (8 Billion in fact) - similar end points but different technologies. It would be nice to have companies like J&J invested but at the same time if this tech gets up from speculative biotech to market player (not domiantor0 it will have to get noticed by some...perhaps many larger players, and if the tech is as good as they say it is then someone will want a slice of it...who knows
