Fang half of your comments are simply stating the obvious, hurdles any startup would face. What exactly is the problem with spending billions to build up one of the largest miners in Australia? How much do you think it should cost to ramp up to 120 mil tonnes, less than 'billions more'?
The only Aussie mining company not getting a major slapping right now is BHP, it seems unreasonable to single out FMG (at least that's how I read your post), when these are problems many are facing.
