Not sure about the grannies but it's buzzing down here in Victoria. I'd say half the restaurants have opened and a few are opening on Monday (before Cup Day) for some reason.
Hairdressers etc are doing a roaring trade. I'd say we'll get a little kick this week but the November 9 update should be the good one.
