Full write off of Lighthouse I also thought was strange, but thinking about it further now...
I think from other threads (but dont know for certain) that dividends cannot be paid if you produce a loss for the year. Thus, by fully writing off, they are not constrained from paying dividends in future, at least not from further impairments or a sale of the Lighthouse business.
