Lots of posters here like to refer to imaginary future writedowns by Macquarie, but no one has any details!
Where are the writedowns going to come from? How big are they likely to be and what would be the affect on the balance sheet and soundness of the company?
I don't expect you to be omnipresent, but some reasoning and approx figures behind a statement like that would give it a touch of credibility. If you don't or can't even roughly quantify that kind of claim then it's pretty much worthless.
