Andrew, if you feel belittled then there is a lesson there for you.
If you deal in six figure sums and buy your own shares, you can afford a broker, whom I am sure will answer all your questions. Said broker will also ensure you get reasonable responses to your questions, no doubt by contacting the secretary of the companies you hold shares in.
