The Youanmi Vanadium Project is steadily progressing.
Interesting compare with TNG, a $139m MC company at Mt Peake in the NT
VMC have a superior resource, bigger JORC and higher grade and in a much more mining friendly location than the NT.
Cost of the infrastructure in the Territory would be 30% higher and there is an unfavourable tax regime.
TNG use Tivan technology to process the ore while Venus is developing their own process at Murdoch University.
Capex on this project is around $800m which makes it somewhat out of the league of Venus.
But as a TO proposition or a JV it's a bargain.
