The funny thing AICp is that for all the flak you cop around the place I think you are closest to understanding why the app had zero uptake.
You are right that it is impossible to diagnose respiratory illnesses during a telehealth consultation. And that it is why doctors don’t do this.
The RACGP guidelines for telehealth respiratory consults are pretty simple. Mild symptoms organise a Covid test and arrange a follow-up appointment. Moderate to severe symptoms suggestive of pneumonia refer to the local hospital or a respiratory clinic.
A diagnostic aid is only useful if you are actually diagnosing.
But RAP know now.
It is also by the way why RAP didn’t have to disclose Coviu falling over to the market. Through the Phenix zero uptake it was very reasonable to assume that even without the migration glitch Coviu uptake would also have been zero or close enough to it.
