1. In my opinion a tie up with Macquarie would be better than a sale to make an immediate profit for shareholders in at between $1.08 and $ 2.00. 2. It is my understanding AMP is the only (if not only, one of a couple) that has a financial licence in China. 3. Wouldn't the birds fly if a Chinese company offered to purchase AMP instead of an American company ... they wouldn't mess around - just offer $ 4 and a week to consider.
