Yes graphite companies are starting to close for the winter break.
Asiametals - Ao Yu Graphite plans to stop production in winter.
That is 100k tonnes flake graphite production going offline within the next few weeks. So you can start seeing a spike in price coupled with super strong demand for EVs and shutdown of steel smelters (increasing the demand for arc furnaces and graphite flake).
