As for how much, I am not certain. It once was $197k you could withdraw as a lump sum. With the rule changes to tax free after 60, I believe that was scrapped. Not sure. Best to make inquiries with the ATO on that.

I don't think there is any problem, you retire on Friday collect all the perks... over the weekend you change your mind and Monday you start to work...but better check with ATO I think you must be politician.
